Will AI Save or End the World? A film and expert panel, September 26

Piedmont Boosters, the Piedmont Parents Network, and Piedmont Makers are teaming up for a community evening about the technology reshaping how we live and work.

Saturday, September 26, 2026 Alan Harvey Theater, Piedmont High School Doors open 6:00 PM · Presentation begins 6:30 PM

We’ll screen The AI Doc, a documentary we’ve licensed for the evening, followed by a discussion with a panel of experts and audience Q&A.

Our panel of Piedmont residents:

• Jeff Bleich, Chief Legal Officer at Anthropic
• Marco Casalaina, AI Futurist at Microsoft
• Clara Shih, SVP of Business AI at Meta
• Emily Chang (moderator), Executive Producer at Bloomberg Media

The panel discussion will be recorded and posted to the City of Piedmont and PUSD websites for later viewing.
